Two men were arrested by the Muntinlupa police for illegal gambling and possession of shabu on April 21.
Personnel from the police sub-station in Alabang were conducting a patrol when they saw two men playing cara y cruz in Sitio San Roque in Barangay Alabang at about 11:40 p.m.
The police identified the arrested suspects as alias Yayang, 21, tagged as a street level individual, and alias Pipe, 40.
Authorities recovered bet money amounting to P720.

In addition, the police found 40 grams of shabu in eight plastic sachets worth P272,000 from Yayang. The illegal drugs were placed in a coin purse.
The two will face a complaint for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 (illegal gambling). In addition, Yayang will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (possession of dangerous drugs).
The police said Pipe had criminal records for violations of Republic Act 9165 with cases dated July 5, 2015, and March 24, 2018, both filed in Muntinlupa.
