Korean shot dead in Angeles City
P200,000 reward offered for apprehension of gunmen
ANGELES CITY – A Korean was shot dead here on Easter Sunday.

The Korean Association Community of Angeles City is offering a P200,000 reward for any information that will lead to the identification and arrest of the gunmen.
Police said the incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. on Friendship Highway.
The victim was standing outside a bank when two men on a motorcycle approached him.
One of them attempted to snatch the victim’s bag. He resisted and the other suspect shot him.
The suspects fled toward Barangay Balibago. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. here directed the Angeles City Police Office to solve the incident in 72 hours or until Wednesday, April 23.
Lazatin told acting city police chief Police Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. to “exhaust all means necessary” to identify and apprehend the suspect.
“We will not allow this brutal act to go unresolved. Angeles City must remain a safe place for both locals and foreigners,” Lazatin said.
He said this was the first recorded case involving the death of a Korean national in a shooting linked to robbery in Angeles City.
Lazatin urged the public to immediately report any leads to the Angeles City Police Office.
