K-drama 'A Shop for Killersâ€™ renewed for season 2

Disney+ announced that it has renewed the action-packed Korean drama “A Shop for Killers” for season 2.

Season 2 will star Lee Dong-wook as Jinman, a former mercenary, and Kim Hye-jun as Jian, a college student on the run from some of the world’s deadliest assassins.

The new season will also feature Japanese star Masaki Okada, Hyunri, Jo Han-sun, Geun Hannah, Lee Tae-young, Kim Min, and Jung Yunha.

It will be directed by Lee Kwon and written by Ji Hojin and Lee Kwon.

“A Shop for Killers” season 1 was named one of The New York Times’ “Best International Shows.”

The first season saw college student Jian diving for cover in her childhood home after a series of highly skilled assassins got her in their sights. Desperately fighting to survive, Jian began to remember invaluable lessons her uncle Jinman had taught her before his mysterious death, drawing on them to help her stay alive.

Confused and cornered, Jian worked fast to uncover her uncle’s hidden past and figure out why so many people were desperate to gain access to her house and the extensive arsenal hidden inside.
