
Seven persons were stabbed to death inside a bakery in Purok Uno, Barangay Cupang, Antipolo City on Tuesday, April 22, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said.
Rizal PPO director Col. Felipe Maraggun said the victims were all employees of the bakery.
Based on the initial police investigation, the bodies were discovered around 6 a.m. and was reported to the police at around 8 a.m.
The suspect, who also works at the same bakery, voluntarily surrendered to the police following the incident.
He claimed that his co-workers were planning to kill him, prompting him to kill them first while they were sleeping.
He was brought to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Headquarters in Quezon City.
The investigation on the stabbing is still ongoing.
