The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported a generally peaceful observance of Semana Santa 2025, with no untoward incidents recorded throughout the Holy Week as of Monday, April 21.

QCPD director Brig. Gen. Melecio Buslig, Jr. credited the smooth and orderly celebration to strong coordination among the public, local government units led by Mayor Joy Belmonte, religious organizations, and volunteer groups.
He also praised the commitment and vigilance of QCPD personnel who were strategically deployed across churches, major roads, transport terminals, and other public areas to ensure smooth traffic flow, effective crowd control, and the safety of the public.
"Ang maayos at mapayapang pagdiriwang ng Semana Santa 2025 ay patunay ng ating pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan na mapanatili ang kaayusan sa ating Lungsod (The orderly and peaceful celebration of Semana Santa 2025 stands as proof of our unity and cooperation in maintaining peace and order in our City),” he said.
“Lubos po ang aking pasasalamat sa bawat pulis, LGU, volunteer, at mamamayan na naging bahagi ng ating tagumpay (I extend my deepest gratitude to every police officer, LGU member, volunteer, and citizen who contributed to this success)," Buslig added. (Jhoana Mae Delfin)
