Marcos, First Lady pay last respects to Nora Aunor

President Marcos visited the wake of National Artist for Film and Broadcast Nora Aunor.

Marcos was accompanied by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos as they paid their respects to the "Superstar" at her wake at the Heritage Park in Taguig City on Monday night, April 21.


Aunor, beloved singer and actress, passed away last April 16. She was 71.


Aunor will receive a state funeral when she is laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Western Bicutan, Taguig City, on April 22.

In his message on April 16, Marcos honored Aunor saying "her genius was a gift to the Filipino nation.”
