“Itaewon Class” actress Kim Da-mi and “Big Bet” star Son Suk-ku will be starring in “Nine Puzzles,” which will debut exclusively on Disney+ on May 21.
Crime thriller “Nine Puzzles” follows Yoon Ena (Kim Da-mi), a high school student who discovers the body of her murdered uncle next to a single puzzle piece.

Uncertain of how she got to the scene of the crime and unable to answer any of the police’s questions, Ena quickly becomes the police’s prime suspect.
A decade later, Ena, now a criminal profiler, will once again find herself caught in the middle of a series of murders, with each victim linked to a puzzle piece like the one from the night of her uncle’s murder.
Son Suk-ku (“D.P.”) will play the role of the the tenacious and suspicious detective Kim Hansaem while Kim Sung-kyun (“Moving,” “The Fiery Priest”) is Police Captain Yang Jungho and Hyun Bongsik (“When Life Gives You Tangerines,” “Gangnam B-Side”) is junior detective Choi San;
“Nine Puzzles” is directed by Yoon Jongbin (“Narco Saints,” “The Spy Gone North”) and written by Lee Eunmi (“Tunnel,” “Navillera”).
It will be the latest Korean Original series set to debut as part of the 2025 Disney+ Korea slate.
Audiences have been engrossed in investigative thriller “Unmasked” and captivated by medical thriller “Hyper Knife,” which rapidly rose to become the most viewed Korean premiere on Disney+ globally this year.
This year, audiences can also look forward to upcoming titles “Low Life,” a treasure hunting series starring Ryu Seung-ryong and international conspiracy series “Tempest,” starring Jun Gianna, Gang Dongwon, John Cho and Michael Gaston.
