Caidic suggested that the league should bring back its Hall of Fame induction to recognize and honor those who were snubbed in the 50 Greatest Players list.

“I agree with that I support that parang sa NBA din, they have a regular process meron silang selection committee sa kung sino talaga yung deserving sa hall of fame,” said Guiao.

The league began inducting not only players but also coaches, executives and even other league personalities, to the Hall of Fame in 2005.

The PBA regularly inducted names to the Hall of Fame list every two years until 2013.

Benjie Paras, Ronnie Magsanoc, Lim Eng Beng and former coach Ed Ocampo were the latest inductees.

According to Guiao, bringing back the Hall of Fame induction as a staple event for the league would allow the fans to get to know the greats and the legends that once became the league’s superstars.

“It also becomes an appreciation tapos pag naalala natin dahil nasa Hall of Fame, ito pala siya, magaling pala siya, ito pala yung in-contribute niya, said Guiao

“Ito ang mga history of the PBA and the game. So I can agree with that and I support that idea,” he added.
