3 arrested, including minor, in P1.3M Rizal buy-bust

Three persons, including a 15-year-old boy, were nabbed by the police during a drug buy-bust operation together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Malanday, San Mateo, Rizal on Saturday, April 19, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said.

The suspects were identified as "Paula," 24; "Mani," 55; and "John John," 15.

Police officers recovered 193.7 grams of shabu worth P1,315,596 from the suspects.

Rizal PPO director Col. Felipe Maraggun said the two suspects are now under police custody, while John John was placed under the custody of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

Paula and Mani are facing charges for violating R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
