CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Holy Week across Central Luzon was peaceful, Police Regional Office- 3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo said.

Fajardo attributed the success of the week-long religious activities to the coordinated efforts of the public, local government units, religious organizations, and volunteer force multipliers.
“Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the public for their discipline and to our partners for their unwavering support. Their collective effort ensured the safe and solemn commemoration of Holy Week in the region,” Fajardo said.
Thousands of devotees flocked to churches, pilgrimage sites, and religious processions in the region during the Holy Week .
Meanwhile, PRO-3 said seven persons died in nine drowning incidents involving 12 individuals in Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Zambales.
Fajardo condoled with families of drowning victims.
Three vehicular accidents were recorded in Nueva Ecija, Zambales, and Bataan that resulted in injuries.
All incidents are under investigation by concerned units, Fajardo said.
