Filipino-Chinese businessmen pay tribute to Nora Aunor

The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), led by President Victor Lim, bid farewell to a luminary who transcended borders, cultures, and generations—National Artist Nora Aunor.

"The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) bids farewell to a luminary who transcended borders, cultures, and generations—National Artist Nora Aunor.

"Her artistry was not merely performance; it was alchemy, turning the raw ore of human experience into gold. Through her roles, she mirrored the Filipino soul—its resilience, sorrows, and unyielding hope.

"She walked barefoot through the deserts of Himala, her voice thundering truths that shook the heavens. She cradled the broken in Bona and bore the weight of martyrs in The Flor Contemplacion Story. In every frame, she etched not just characters, but parables of our collective struggle. Her craft was a bridge between the mundane and the divine, between the personal and the political.

"To the Filipino people, she was more than an actress—she was a vessel of their stories, a compass in times of moral fog. To our nation, she was a testament to how art can elevate a people, dignify their pain, and immortalize their spirit. Today, the heavens weep for a star returned to its cosmic cradle, but her light lingers—in celluloid, in memory, in the heartbeat of a grateful nation.
