15-year-old boy, 2 others yield P1.3-M shabu in Rizal on Black Saturday

Shabu worth P1,315,596 was confiscated from a 15-year-old boy and two others during a buy-bust operation in San Mateo, Rizal on Black Saturday, April 19.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the boy as “John John” and the two others as “Paula,” 24, and “Mani,” 55. They were arrested by the operatives of the San Mateo Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay Malanday.

Recovered from them were six packets of suspected shabu and one knot-tied plastic sachet, with a total weight of approximately 193.47 grams.

Authorities said the boy was turned over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.

The two other suspects are now under the custody of the San Mateo Municipal Police Station and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
