Is your kid enamored by anything with an engine? You’re in luck as there are a number of summer activities for car enthusiast in training.
Toyota Kid Technician for a day Toyota Alabang is inviting kids to get to learn the inner workings of a car and start their path early towards a career in the auto industry. On April 12, 2025, Toyota Alabang will hold Toyota Kid Technician for a Day activities.
The program offers interested kids the chance to get a hands-on experience with real cars. Open to kids aged 4-18 years-old, participants will be taught the inner workings of a car. They will also be taught how to repair and replace car components like filters, wipers, tires, the engine, and body panel. Toyota Alabang will provide the kids with the proper attire, including workshop overalls, hard hats, and gloves.
The program comes in two tiers. As a Junior Tech, kids will be taught how to replace a car’s filters, clean the wipers, and change tires. Those enrolling in the Master Tech class will experience all the Junior Tech activities plus, tinker with a real engine, and assemble body panels.
In addition, both tiers will have the kids assemble a remote controlled (RC) car and race them on a track.
The Junior Tech package is offered at an introductory price of ₱1,500, while the Master Tech package is priced at ₱2,000. The activities will happen at the Toyota Alabang Service Center in Las Piñas. The activity starts at 1:30 p.m.
The Toyota Kid Technician for a Day activity is open to friend groups, family groups, and school class groups. Kids aged 4-18 years old are welcome.

Motorcycle riding for kids
Give your kids a head start by getting them on a motorcycle early. One of the pioneers of teaching children how to ride is Motorcycle Riding School Philippines, run by coach Mel Aquino. This riding school caters to kids of all ages.
Let your child experience the thrill of riding safely with Motorcycle Riding School Philippines' Kids Program. This summer, the school is teaching young riders the fundamentals of motorcycle control and road safety in a fun and guided environment.
Classes start from April 7 onward. The fee of ₱10,000 is inclusive of one session, a complete lesson module, a motorcycle unit (Yamaha PW50), basic protective gear, and instruction from a riding coach.
Class starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. A certificate is provided at the end.
The school is located at 35 Sitio Puting Bato, Brgy. Inarawan, Antipolo City, beside RC Cola Plant along Marcos Highway, Antipolo, Philippines.
