However, sales dropped by 13.67 percent or P2,649,809 compared to last year’s P19.2 million.
Local government unit (LGU) pavilions earned P9,822,315.50, followed by San Miguel Area concessionaires with P3,466,350, Food Alley concessionaires with P1,678,213.20, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) organic village with P961,087, Provincial Veterinary Office with P420,922, garden with P212,725, and trade fair with P39,081.
The highest sales in the week-long festival were recorded in the closing day with P4.8 million. On the other hand, P1.8 million was earned in the opening day.
Panaad Festival 2025 Executive Director Charina Magallanes-Tan said that last year’s sales also declined but it was inversely proportional with the crowd.
“While the attendance increases, surprisingly the sales decline. We are thinking that it’s not about our promotion or the number of festival-goers, but the capacity of the revelers to buy,” she said.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said that this year’s festival was the most successful as many LGUs participated. “This is a breakthrough in terms of quantity and quality,” he added.
Diaz said that the festival had huge crowds during the entire week. He said that the committee behind the event celebrated and proud of the results.
He said that they extended the garden and organic village for another week upon the request of vendors at Panaad Park here.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said that each moment of the festival was a testament to the strength, creativity, and unity of Negrenses. He thanked people who contributed to the success of the festival.
