Operatives of the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) seized ₱686,800 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Valenzuela City on Wednesday, April 2.

VCPS Chief Col. Nixon Cayaban identified the suspect as Medrano "Medic" Medina, 42, a resident of Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Based on the police report, authorities conducted a buy-bust operation at around 1:10 a.m. along M.H. Del Pilar Road, Barangay Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City.
A police officer posed as a buyer and successfully bought shabu from the suspect which led to his arrest.
Confiscated from the suspect were 101 grams of shabu, valued at P686,800, a black belt bag, and the buy-bust money.
Medina will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Jhoana Mae Delfin)
