All the fun things to do at the AweSM Capiztahan celebration at SM City Roxas

The Capiztahan Festival is a vibrant celebration showcasing the rich culture, history, and seafood delights of Capiz, the Seafood Capital of the Philippines

This year’s Capiztahan celebration will be extra special as SM City Roxas joins in with interactive installations, activities, and events.

With its campaign, “AweSM Capiz,” SM City Roxas promises more fun and excitement than ever, offering a wide range of thrilling activities and events lined up until April 6, 2025.

The AweSM Capiz celebration kicks off with a Capiztahan Festival Sale running until April 6, where festival-goers can enjoy big discounts and amazing deals.

Mallgoers can also participate in JCI’s Project Hi Five, an initiative that educates attendees on the basics of HIV and AIDS, including transmission, prevention, treatment, and the importance of testing and support for those living with HIV.

Locals and visitors are invited to join the Capiztahan Monde Nissin Lucky Perya from April 5 to 6, featuring a lineup of popular perya (carnival) games with exciting prizes.

On April 5, adventure-seekers can take part in Lagsanay, a thrilling bike race competition for cycling enthusiasts. This event promotes a healthy lifestyle while fostering a strong sense of community among participants and spectators.

Car lovers won’t want to miss the Capiztahan 2025 Autoshow on April 5 at the South Parking of the mall, featuring a showcase of unique cars with standout aesthetics and specifications.

Music fans can enjoy AweSM Capiztahan Beats, a musical treat featuring powerful vocal performances by talented solo and duet artists on April 5 at South Parking.

For kids and the young at heart, the AweSM: Spin and Snap experience at the mall’s main entrance on April 5 will offer a fun-filled 360° photo booth, providing a unique and interactive way to capture memories.

Festival-goers are also encouraged to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the AweSM Capiztahan Negosyo Fair at the Event Center from April 5 to 11.

To conclude the celebration, cosplay enthusiasts can watch the AweSM Maragtas Chronicles Cosplay Contest on April 6 at the 2nd Level, Activity Area. Witness cosplayers bring legendary characters to life, from the Ten Bornean Datus and King Marikudo to the famed warrior Lapu-Lapu.
