Korean singer Moon Sua from the girl group Billlie released a cover song to pay tribute and honor her late brother Moonbin, a K-pop idol from group Astro, on his second death anniversary on April 19.
Moonbin (문빈), 25, was found dead on April 19, 2023 at his home in Gangnam, Seoul at about 8:10 p.m. by his manager who reported it to the police, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station said.
Less than a month before his death, Moonbin and fellow Astro member Sanha held their “Diffusion” Fan Con Tour in Manila on March 25, 2023.
Moon Sua released a cover of the Lady Gaga song “Always Remember Us This Way” from the 2018 film “A Star Is Born.”

Along with the song, Moon Sua wrote a letter to Moonbin, telling him “I really miss you and love you,”
“How are you, brother? I sang a song for the first time while thinking of you this time. Isn't it touching? The song may not be perfect, but I hope you know my sincerity,” she wrote.
She added, “While preparing, all sorts of thoughts came to mind. It was my first time singing to you, so I was more nervous and more careful. I guess I wanted to be good to you that much. I wanted to convey my feelings like this.”
“But, brother, am I really working hard? There are days when I endure, days when I laugh, and days when I’m just a mess. But the more I try to live, the more courageous I feel. I thought that when oppa sees me, he’d say ‘Okay~ you did well.’”
Moon Sua said, “I thought a lot about the song, but in the end, I liked this song ‘I’ll always remember us like this.’ Because those words sound like us. Even the days when I was with oppa but couldn’t express myself because I was shy. I’ll remember each and every one of those things just as they were.”
“And just because I didn’t think of oppa for a moment, you shouldn’t get upset and upset by yourself. I just didn’t express it, I’m always thinking about you~But this is funny. I hate when I look okay and I hate when I look not okay,” she told Moonbin.

She said, “Maybe because the day is coming, I sometimes see you in my dreams. It’s not often, but I’m still happy. Thank you, oppa, for showing me your face like this sometimes When we meet again later, carry me and hug me a lot. And you don’t have to say anything, so just say one word, ‘Soo-ah, you worked hard.’”
“Let’s be forever Moon siblings. If I were to be born again, we would still be brother and sister. I really miss you and love you,” she said.
In addition, a new song “Memory of the Moon” will be released on April 19 to mark Moonbin’s death anniversary.
The song will feature 22 K-pop artists. They are Astro (MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon Sanha) members, Moon Sua, Viviz, Monsta X's Minhyuk, Kihyun, and I.M, Seventeen's Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, DK, and Seungkwan, Hello Gloom, Rocky, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Doyeon, SF9's Chani, and Stray Kids' Bang Chan.
