P1.7-M shabu seized from 3 drug peddlers in Pasay City

Three suspected drug pushers were arrested after members of the Southern Police District (SPD) Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) seized from them P1.7 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Pasay City on Friday, April 18.

The SPD identified the suspects as alias “Jayson,” 26; alias Jerico,” 35; and alias “Mary Grace,” 30.

They were nabbed at around 9:03 p.m. in Barangay 76, Pasay City, by SDEU operatives in coordination with members of the District Intelligence Division and the Pasay City Police Substation 1.

Confiscated from them were 250 grams of shabu, boodle money, a keypad cellphone, and a KIA Forte Sedan.

The suspects are now detained at SPD custodial facility. They were charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
