A mother wearing a revealing white gown at her daughter's graduation did not expect to attract so much attention.

Bernadette Flores Cutas expressed her surprise at the mixed reactions she received online regarding the outfit she wore to her child’s graduation. Some criticized her outfit saying it was inappropriate for the occasion while others praised her for being fierce.

On Facebook, she could only thank the netizens who bashed her for her outfit.

"Wala jud ko mag dahom mag viral ne. Salamat sa mga nag support og sa mga bashers Salamat sad nenyo Wala jud ko masuko nenyo love2x mo nako tanan en ana rako ka maayo og ka simple. (Translated: I didn't expect it to go viral. Thank you to those who supported me and to the bashers. Thank you, everyone. I'm not mad at you. You all love me, but I'm just so good and simple)," Bernadette wrote.

However, it doesn't stop there. Little did she realize that wearing a sexy gown would create opportunities for her.

As of April 18, Bernadette's followers on Facebook reached almost 600,000.

On April 16, international shoe designer Jojo Bragais expressed interest in having her model for a high-fashion shoot. Jojo had already spoken to Bernadette via Zoom, as she shared on Facebook.

"Hala thank you kaayu Jose Joaquin Bragais subra pa sa akong gipangayo, thank you jud kaayu lord, ug thank you ninyong tanan… more blessings to come pa unta. (Thank you Jose Joaquin Bragais. It's more than I asked for. Thank you good Lord, and thank you all ... more blessings to come)," Bernadette said.

Broadcaster and producer Carl Balita expressed his desire to sponsor Bernadette's next gown.

"I want to sponsor your next gown - a proud mother who has the right to be herself and to celebrate her motherhood, womanhood, and parenthood of a child who studied well and who has made an academic achievement.

"Please help me find her…Kung may problema ang iba, ako wala. Live and let live… Sa Tagalog, WALANG PAKIALAMAN. Walang basagan ng trip," Carl said.

Celebrity dentist Dr. Mario Guiang, of the Guiang Dental Cosmetic and Implant Center, also offered a smile makeover for Bernadette. "Pag nakita mo sya Jose Joaquin Bragais ako na bahala sa smile makeover nya."

Bernadette has also been invited to inaugurate Gwapeng's Cut and Shave and Adarna Grande Hair and Nail Studio on April 22. Both events will take place in Punta Princesa, Cebu.
