A massive fire hit an industrial establishment on T. Santiago Street in Barangay Veinte Reales, Valenzuela City, which started on Good Friday, April 18, and continued into Black Saturday, April 19.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that the fire started at 5:25 p.m. and quickly escalated to second alarm at 5:37 p.m. and third alarm at 5:42 p.m.
The BFP raised the fourth alarm at 6:45 p.m. and fifth alarm at 7:21 p.m.
On Saturday morning, the city's Public Information Office (PIO) confirmed that the fire had been raised to Task Force Alpha as firefighters continued to control the flames as of 7 a.m.
The city government has established an evacuation center at Paltok Elementary School for residents who wish to move as a precaution.
To support firefighting operations, the local government also deployed heavy equipment, including backhoes.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported as of this writing. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
