In her social media accounts, the First Lady posted a photo of their wedding anniversary celebration with their two sons— Joseph Simon and William Vincent.
Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos, the First Couple’s eldest son, was not seen in the photo.
“Boodling our hearts out on our anniversary day!,” Araneta-Marcos wrote on Facebook.
In a separate post on Instagram, the First Lady shared her simple joy of spending quality time with the family.
“When Bing Crosby first sang “the best things in life are free,” he probably wasn’t thinking about a boodle meal—although he might’ve been onto something,” her post read.
“If our anniversary lunch says anything, it’s that nothing compares to the joy of sharing time (and food) with the people we love most!,” she said.
The First Couple tied the knot on April 17, 1993, at the San Francesco Convent in Fiesole, Italy.
On the eve of their anniversary, the President penned a sweet message for the First Lady, noting how he was still “mystified” with his wife.
“Tomorrow is our 32nd anniversary. I’m still mystified how my wife, Liza, has managed to put up with me for so long without going insane,” Marcos captioned a photo collage of them.
“Thank you for your love, patience and strength. I love you, dear!,” the Chief Executive said.
