A 20-year-old man was hurt when a fire hit several houses in Pasay City on Holy Wednesday, April 16.
Supt. Mariano Taguiam, Pasay City Bureau of Fire Marshall, said the victim, identified as alias “Vinz,” suffered multiple lacerations on his hand and was immediately given first aid treatment.
Taguiam said the fire broke out at around 11:23 p.m. on the third floor of the house occupied by Rigor Salupao located at FB Harrison St. corner San Juan St., Pasay City.
He said the fire spread to 10 nearby houses and was doused by 83 responding fire trucks from nearby cities.
The BFP said the fire was raised to the second alarm at around 11:30 p.m. and was declared fire out at 1:11 a.m.
The BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire and has estimated the damage to properties at P375,000.
