A total of 46 personnel from the Pasay City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) were deployed to three bus stations and four churches in the city as a proactive measure to ensure public safety during the Holy Week.
SFO1 Rezmond Germino, head of the Pasay BFP Public Information Office (PIO), said the deployment aims to strengthen fire prevention and safety efforts throughout the Lenten season.
Germino identified the three bus stations as JAC Liner on Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue; DLTB Bus Terminal, BBL Transport System, and JAM Liner, all located on Taft Avenue, and ALPS Bus Liner on Taft corner San Juan St, where the BFP personnel were positioned.
He said personnel were also deployed to the Shrine of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life located in Coral Way; the Shrine of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus in New Port City Complex and the Our Lady Of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Kalayaan Village, Bagbag, Barangay 201, Pasay City.
The BFP said the Caltex Gasoline Station beside the Victory Liner Terminal in EDSA, Pasay City will also be manned by BFP personnel.
