Driver tagged as No. 6 wanted person in Taguig arrested

Police operatives arrested a driver tagged as one of the most wanted persons in Taguig on April 16.

A team from the Taguig Police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section apprehended the suspect, identified as alias Edgar, 54, at his residence in Barangay Palingon-Tipas, Taguig.

Edgar was classified as the No. 6 most wanted person of Taguig police for the second quarter of the year.

He was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest for service of sentence for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), issued on last Feb. 28 Presiding Judge Abraham Joseph Alcantara of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 70.

After the arrest, he was taken to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital for medical and physical examinations. He was transferred to the Warrant and Subpoena Section of Taguig police.
