OPM icon and licensed pilot Ronnie Liang paid respects to Captain Nikko Manogan, a flight instructor at the Pilipinas Space Aviation Academy, who passed away last March 30 in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
On April 3, Ronnie attended the 31-year-old pilot's wake in Baguio City, where he met his family. He described the pilot as a "dedicated man to his job."
“We both went to the Pilipinas Space Aviation Academy. We were both pursuing our commercial pilot's licenses when he became one of the flight instructors. He was a dedicated man to his job, inspiring me to achieve well in aviation,” Ronnie said.
Praising and thanking the pilot, Ronnie continued, “I'm saddened that he's gone. When things like this happen, you will pray. As pilots, we always seek guidance and safety when flying. He was a good person, and I'd like to thank him for everything he taught me.”

“His contributions to the aviation industry were much acknowledged. He was really young. Unfortunately, he didn't get to visit more places. I also feel sad for his family, who adores him,” he added.
