Malacañang has expressed its gratitude to the Philippine humanitarian team that assisted in the earthquake response operations in Myanmar.

In her press briefing, Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro relayed President Marcos' appreciation to the team that has just returned to the Philippines following their mission.
"Nagkaroon po ito ng commendation at sila po talaga ay pinarangalan po dahil sa kanilang napakatapang na pagsagupa dito sa kanilang obligation at sa kanilang duty po (There was commendation and they were honored for their courageous fulfillment of their obligation and duty)," she said.
"Kayo po ay aming pinasasalamatan. Kapuri-puri ang inyong mga ginawa (We thank you. Your actions are commendable)," she added.

Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has confirmed that the remains of two of the four Filipinos unaccounted for following the devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake had been found and identified.
However, the DFA withheld the identity of the Filipino casualties as requested by their families. The agency is hoping for the best for the two remaining Filipinos.
The March 28 earthquake's epicenter was near Mandalay and caused widespread destruction across multiple regions. The death toll has surpassed 3,600.
Nearly 1,740 personnel from 20 countries, including the Philippines, have been involved in rescue operations, which have resulted in the extraction of over 600 survivors.
The Philippine Embassy in Yangon remains in close coordination with local authorities and international partners to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipinos in Myanmar.
In a Facebook post, the Philippine Embassy in Yangon announced that it is offering repatriation to Filipinos who request it. It also offers transportation assistance for relocation, temporary accommodation for 14 days, financial assistance for qualified individuals, and trauma counseling services.
