On April 12, Maricel finally explained the reason for her difficulty in walking.
(My spine, I have arthritis up to my neck. The first time I experienced it, I got an injection in my back).
Tapos matagal bago nag-effect, kaya iika-ika ako maglakad. (Then, the next time, the pain still didn't go away, they injected steroids right into my spinal cord. Then it took a long time for it to take effect, so I could barely walk.)
(My feet are numb. It's hereditary. No matter what I do, it's going to be like that. But this can be treated. Actually, they said, 'You should have surgery to end that pain.')
Ang operation is not a joke. Kaya ko ito. (We're going there because we're looking at all the ways to avoid surgery. I don't want surgery. I've already had a Caesarian. The operation is not a joke. I can do it)," Maricel added.
