The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started weekend repair works on the northbound lanes of the Magallanes Flyover along EDSA in Makati City to improve traffic flow and ensure road safety.

According to the DPWH–Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office, the repairs will include replacing expansion joints, applying protective paint to steel structures, and conducting concrete restoration.

The project, which started on Apr. 11, will cause partial lane closures on the northbound lanes from Pasay to Cubao every weekend until Jun. 2.

During the Holy Week period from Apr. 16 to 21, repairs will focus on a different section of the flyover, with additional work scheduled for weekends between Apr. 25 and Jun. 2.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic disruptions and are encouraged to take alternate routes or use adjacent lanes to avoid delays.
