Tricycle bursts into flames in Manila

A tricycle burst into flames at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Kalaw Avenue in Manila on Friday, April 11.

According to the tricycle driver, he was driving along Roxas Boulevard to deliver fish to a nearby market when his motorcycle, fitted with a sidecar used by pedicabs, suddenly emitted smoke from the engine and burst into flames.

He initially tried to put out the fire by using water but the blaze quickly spread throughout the vehicle.

Responding firefighters extinguished the flames.

No one was hurt in the incident.
