Bigtime drug dealers nabbed in Bulacan, P1M shabu seized

Two bigtime drug dealers were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan on Friday, April, 11.

Col. Franklin P. Estoro, Bulacan police officer-in-charge, identified the suspects as alias “Mark”, 39, a resident of 763 Brgy. Concepcion, Baling, and alias “Rodel”, 46, a resident of North Ville 7, Brgy. Malis, Guiguinto.

Estoro said the suspects were both Included in the Unified Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) watchlist.

He added that anti-narcotics operatives of the Guiguinto police station headed by Lt. Col Christian Alucod conducted a coordinated buy-bust operation against the two suspects at about 5:30 a.m.

A poseur buyer bought a sachet of suspected shabu from the two using marked money.

The operation resulted in the arrest of alias "Mark" and alias "Rodel" and in the seizure of around 150 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,020,000.

The suspects were immediately detained while the recovered pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Criminal charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 Section 5, 11, 12, and 26 and RA 10591 are now being readied for filing in court against the suspects.
