Another marijuana plantation discovered in Cebu City

CEBU CITY – For the second time in three days, a marijuana plantation was discovered in Sudlon 2, a mountain barangay here.

The Mobile Force Company of the Cebu City Police Office uprooted 7,000 fully grown marijuana plants valued at P1.5 million in Sitio Lupa, Sudlon 2 at past 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11.

Nobody was arrested during the operation, police said.

Last Wednesday, law enforcers also uncovered a marijuana plantation in Sitio Maraag, also a part of Suldon 2.

Uprooted in Sitio Maraag were 6,000 fully grown and 500 marijuana seedlings with P1.2 million.

No one was also arrested during the operation in Maraag.

Police said the series of successful operations against marijuana plantations were made possible due to information provided by the community.
