10 drug suspects, 4 wanted persons arrested, illegal drugs seized in Bulacan


The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested 10 drug peddlers and four wanted persons and confiscated over P370,000 worth of illegal drugs in a series of anti-crime operations.

According to Bulacan PPO officer-in-charge Col. Franklin Estoro, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Jose Del Monte City conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Manuel at around 12:17 a.m., resulting in the arrest of two suspects identified by their aliases “Jabbar” and “Hamza.”

Seized from the suspects were eight sachets of transparent plastic sachets of shabu valued at P340,000 and buy-bust money.

In separate operations, SDEU units from the municipalities of Meycauayan, Obando, Bulakan, and Marilao arrested eight more individuals during buy-bust operations.

Authorities confiscated a total of 14 sachets of suspected shabu and two sachets of dried marijuana leaves, with an estimated value of P36,244, as well as buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, tracker teams from the San Jose Del Monte City and San Ildefonso police stations arrested four wanted individuals in separate manhunt operations.

The suspects were apprehended by virtue of warrants of arrest issued against them.

All arrested individuals will face appropriate charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The Bulacan police emphasized that their intensified anti-criminality campaign will continue to maintain peace and order in the province.
