Drug suspect killed, 4 PDEA agents injured in P28-M Parañaque buy-bust

A drug suspect was killed, while four agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency were wounded on Wednesday, April 9, during a buy-bust operation in Paran̈aque City.

In a statement, the PDEA said  alias ‘Sadly’ was killed and his cohorts with aliases ‘Lala’, ‘Allan’ and Binny were collared during the 5 p.m. operation in Barangay San Antonio.

The wounded PDEA agents are currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.

Aside from the 4.2 kilos of shabu placed in four plastic bags, authorities also seized a vehicle, cellular phones, buy-bust money, identification cards, drug paraphernalia, a firearm,  ammunition and several documents during the operation.

The buy-bust operation was carried out by the PDEA Regional Office National Capital Region and the Paran̈aque City Police Station.

Alias ‘Lala,’Allan’ and ‘Binny’ face charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale of prohibited drugs) and 11 (possession of illegal  drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.’’
