5 drug suspects yield over P470K shabu in Rizal buy-bust

Authorities seized P471,784 worth of shabu from five drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Binangonan, Rizal.

On Wednesday, April 9, the Binangonan Municipal Police Station arrested “RJ,” 41, and “Yoyong,” 32, during an operation in Barangay Darangan.

Confiscated from them were 53.74 grams of suspected shabu valued at P365,432.

Meanwhile, three other drug suspects identified as “Bel,” 54; “Dani,” 46; and “JL,” 21, were arrested in Barangay Pantok on Thursday, April 10.

Recovered from them were 15.64 grams of suspected shabu worth P106,352.

Authorities also confiscated an improvised shotgun and a bullet from Dani.

All five suspects are currently under the custody of the Binangonan Custodial Facility and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). Dani is also facing a separate charge for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), in relation to the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines.
