ALABAT, Quezon – Forty-two undocumented foreign nationals were apprehended by authorities in a resort in Barangay Villa Norte here on Wednesday, April 9.

Police Regional Office 4-A information chief Police Col. Chitadel Gaioran said the Chinese nationals arrived in passenger vans on board Roll on, Roll off vessels allegedly to operate a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator hub on the island.
Informed of their presence, the  Bureau of Immigration (BI) and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), with assistance from the Police Regional Office 4-A Intelligence Division and local police, obtained a mission order under Executive Order 287, Series of 2000, or Mission Orders for Verification and Investigation of Suspected Illegal Aliens.
They were taken to the PRO-4 headquarters in Calamba City, Laguna province for documentation.
The PAOCC is investigating if they are POGO workers from Porac, Pampanga and other areas.
They face deportation cases and will be barred from returning to the country.
