2 hurt in five-vehicle collision in San Juan

Two persons were injured after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) crashed into several vehicles along N. Domingo Street near Agora Market in San Juan City on Friday, April 11.

According to the San Juan Traffic bureau, the brakes of a white Nissan Terra SUV malfunctioned and caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and hit several vehicles on the opposite lane, including three tricycles, a jeepney, and a sedan.

The injured individuals were immediately given first aid by the first responders and were brought to the hospital for treatment.

The SUV's driver has been placed under police custody.
