Camille Villar gets hug, endorsement from QC Mayor Belmonte

With a heartfelt hug, Alansya para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidate Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar gained the endorsement of fellow woman of power, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
This gesture capped Villar's campaign sorties Monday, March 31 in Quezon City, which covered various sectors.
Belmonte's endorsement of Villar's senatorial candidacy followed that of Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon's backing of the congresswoman's bid in the May 12 mid-term polls.
Grateful for the support, Villar reiterated her commitment to prioritize the welfare of women, youth, and the marginalized sector, and promote better healthcare services and improve education.
On Monday, the administration Senate bet joined the conduct of gender and development assembly initiated by the Quezon City government. It was aimed at advancing gender equality in all sectors of society, including education, employment, healthcare, and political participation.

Villar, a deputy speaker in the House of Representatives, also listened to the concern of transport groups, including tricycle drivers and operators.
The Las Piñas solon thanked Belmonte for her unwavering support. Villar vowed that she will always be ready to help the people of Quezon City once she is elected to the Senate.
Quezon City is one of the vote-rich cities in Metro Manila. It has 1,382,018 registered voters based on the records of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
