Speaking before a cheering crowd, Villar thanked Mayor Biazon and Muntinlupa residents for their warm welcome and pledged to honor her family’s deep roots in the city through dedicated public service.

“Muntinlupa holds a special place in my heart,” Villar said. “My grandfather, Dr. Filomino Aguilar, served as a barrio doctor here and in Las Piñas. This city is part of our family’s story.”

Villar, who is campaigning on a platform centered on economic empowerment, women’s health, education, housing, and financial literacy, said she is committed to becoming a strong voice for Filipinos in the Senate.

Her father, former Senate President Manny Villar, represented Muntinlupa and Las Piñas in Congress from 1992 to 1998 and authored the law that led to Muntinlupa’s cityhood in 1995. Meanwhile, her mother, Senator Cynthia Villar, was born in Muntinlupa and attended school in the city.

“Whenever I have the chance, I make it a point to come back,” Camille said. “Muntinlupa is not just a city we served—it’s home.”

Villar ended her remarks with a promise: “Hayaan ninyo pong maging boses ninyo ako. Sama-sama po nating itaguyod ang pag-asenso ng ating mga kababayan.”

With endorsements piling up from key political figures, Villar is seen as a strong contender in the upcoming Senate race, backed by both a familiar name and a track record of grassroots engagement.
