JD Cagulangan made the most out of his longest playing time in the Korean Basketball League (KBL), helping the Suwon KT Sonicboom squeak past the Anyang JKJ Red Boosters, 88-85, on Monday, March 31.

Despite committing six turnovers, Cagulangan redeemed himself in his 34-minute appearance -- his most since joining the league in January -- and tallied 11 points, four rebounds, eight assists, and two steals that boosted Suwon to its fifth consecutive victory.
It was also the eighth double-digit scoring in the pro ranks for the two-time UAAP MVP with a career-high 15 points in their 76-74 loss to SJ Belangel and the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus on Jan. 16.
Rayshaun Hammonds also shone with a double-double effort of 20 points and 12 rebounds while Ha Yun-Gi and Heo Hoon backed him up with 19 and 17 points, respectively.
Suwon now improved to 32-19 to tie for second spot with the Changwon LG Sakers, who have another former UP player in Carl Tamayo in their lineup.
Cagulangan overshadowed the efforts of fellow former Maroon Javi Gomez de Liaño for Anyang, who registered 11 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.
This marked the third time that Cagulangan and de Liaño faced each other, with the former leading 2-1 in their head-to-head this year.
