The Taguig City government denounced the spread of fake information about the purported medical and financial assistance given by councilors.
“May nagkakalat ng maling impormasyon na may programang medical o financial assistance ang mga konsehal ng Lungsod Taguig (Someone is spreading false information that the Taguig city councilors have a medical or financial assistance program),” the city government posted on social media.

It said a group spreading the wrong information is encouraging residents to go to the office of councilors to submit requirements in exchange for medical or financial assistance.
We would like to inform everyone that the dissemination of false information or any similar activity is a blatant fraud against Taguigeños and is strongly condemned by the Taguig City government),” it added.
This is causing inconvenience to residents who are taking the chance to get requirements in the hope of receiving medical or financial assistance. Everyone is advised not to believe in false or questionable information and only refer to official announcements from the City of Taguig).”
For official announcements, please contact the city offices or visit our official social media pages),” the city government advised.
