Paolo Tantoco of Rustan Commercial Corp. has passed away

Paolo Tantoco, a notable figure in the local retail industry, has passed away at the age of 44. For years, he was part of his family’s premier retail chain, Rustan Commercial Corporation. News of his passing was confirmed by his family.

“It is with great sorrow that we share the sudden passing of our son, Paolo ‘Paowee’ Tantoco,” Paolo’s parents, Rico and Nena Tantoco, said in a statement. “We are devastated by our loss and kindly request your prayers for Paowee and our family. We will share more details as we finalize arrangements for bringing him home to the Philippines.”

At Rustan Commercial Corporation, Paolo was instrumental in various administrative functions, ensuring the seamless operation of the company's retail ventures. His contributions were vital in maintaining Rustan's reputation for quality and luxury in the Philippine market.

Paolo was married to his wife, Dina Arroyo, and was blessed with three children: Alana, Bela, and Zach.

Through his dedication to the family business and his personal endeavors, Paolo exemplified the values of commitment and excellence, continuing the Tantoco family’s legacy in the Philippine retail landscape.
