Las Piñas LGU inaugurates 2 evacuation centers to enhance disaster assistance
The Las Piñas City government opened two new evacuation facilities to provide safe shelter for residents during emergencies and calamities.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced the two new facilities are the St. Joseph Evacuation Facility in Pulanglupa Uno and the Santos Homes Evacuation Facility at the Santos Village III Covered Court in Zapote.


She added that both facilities are equipped with complete bathrooms and wash areas for the convenience of evacuees.
The mayor stated that the facilities are part of a broader initiative by the city government to enhance public safety and offer immediate assistance to families affected by typhoons, floods, and other emergencies.


It is also part of the city's initiative to reinforce its commitment to disaster preparedness and community welfare.
Aguilar emphasized that the city government remains dedicated to strengthening disaster resilience by continuously improving public facilities and emergency response programs.
