Girl, 3, raped, killed by drunk elder brother

A three-year-old girl was raped and killed by her 17-year-old brother in Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental on Thursday, March 6.

Police said the suspect arrived home drunk and took his sister. He brought her to a nearby furnace where she was raped and killed when she resisted.

Neighbors heard the victim crying and saw her lifeless and naked when they checked on her.

Residents apprehended the suspect a few meters away from the crime scene.

Post-mortem examination showed lacerations on the private part of the victim who was immediately buried.

The victim was hit by a hard object and sustained a stab wound in the head, police said.

The suspect admitted to the crime and is in police custody. He faces a rape with homicide case.
