P360K shabu seized in Caloocan buy-bust op

A total of P360,400 worth of shabu were seized from two high-value individuals in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, on Saturday, March 8.

Operatives from the Northern Police District - Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DEU) identified the suspect as “Eddieboy,” 25, and a 35-year-old man, both residents of Caloocan.

Based on the police report, the Caloocan City Police Sub-Station 12 (CCPS) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) carried out the operation at around 4:21 a.m. in front of a residence at Phase 9C, Package 4, Block 4, Lot 39, Bagong Silang.

The operation resulted in the arrest of the suspects.

Authorities recovered approximately 53 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of P360,400.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
