The 25-year-old Davis Cupper also guns to improve his singles ranking, which is at 1214, while also hoping to elipse his career-high ranking of No. 1123.
The last time he competed in the ITF scene was in September last year, where he lost the opening round of the M15 Hong Kong.
Last year, he competed in nine singles events, with a best finish of a semifinals in the M15 Tianjin in China last June.
At the SEA Games, he managed to snag a bronze meal in the men’s singles in the 2019 edition that the country hosted.
Lim’s pro campaign will be supported by Cebuana Lhuillier under its President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.
“We are honored to have AJ Lim as a Cebuana Lhuillier Tennis Ambassador,” said Lhuillier.
“His dedication and passion for the sport perfectly align with our mission to support and develop Filipino athletes. We believe in his talent and his potential to shine on the global stage, and we’re excited to be part of his journey,” he added.
This partnership is further strengthened also by the support of Gerard Maronilla and Jackie Tomacruz of United Tennis Philippines.
