“A Real Pain,” nominated for best motion picture at the Golden Globes, will be coming to Disney+ on March 19.
Starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, “A Real Pain” delves into the universal themes of cultural heritage, acceptance and family relationships while set against the scenic backdrop of Poland,
In the film mismatched cousins, David and Benji, reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the pair's old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.
The film was nominated for four Golden Globe awards including best motion picture, best actor for Eisenberg, and best screenplay and won the best performance by a male actor in a supporting role for Culkin.
Culkin also won an Academy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award for best supporting actor.
The film also won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and was named one of AFI’s Top 10 Movies of 2024.
Searchlight Pictures’ “A Real Pain” is Certified-Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and praised by reviewers.
