Trailing 30-16 in the first quarters, the Sakers went on full throttle in the third with a blistering 15-6 run to gain a 58-53 upperhand and never looked back.
The win hiked Sakers win-loss record to 26-12 at second.
Assem Marei posted a double-double performance of 17 points and 14 rebounds on top of five assists for Changwon, while Carl Tamayo chalked in 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one steal. Yu Ki-Sang chipped in 16 points.
It was the third straight double-digit scoring for Tamayo following his 34-point explosion in their 67-63 loss to Wonju.
Andrew Nicholson and SJ Belangel scored 20 and 18 points, while Jeong Hyo-Woo added 15 points in a losing effort for Daegu.
Meanwhile, the league-leading Seoul SK Knights crushed Kevin Quiambao and the Goyang Skygunners, 71-56.
Quiambao was held to seven points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal despite playing for almost 29 minutes for the Skygunners, who endured their 28th defeat against 14 wins.
Seoul improved to 35-8 to remain at the helm.
