PAGASA: Cloudy skies, isolated rain showers expected in Metro Manila, across the Philippines
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that on Saturday, March 8, Metro Manila and various parts of the country will experience cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

In its weather forecast, PAGASA said the shear line will affect the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, while the northeast monsoon or “amihan” will impact the rest of Northern Luzon.
PAGASA noted that the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The easterlies will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Caraga and Palawan.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected in mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte due to the shear line.
The “amihan” will bring cloudy skies with light rains to Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.
Likewise, PAGASA said the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms or in areas experiencing moderate to heavy rains.
