P340K shabu seized in Angono buy-bust op

Angono Police officers confiscated a total of P340,000 worth of shabu from two High Value Individuals (HVIs) following a search warrant operation held in Barangay Mahabang Parang, Angono, Rizal, on Thursday, March 6.

The police identified the suspects as "Balbal," 49, and "Toptop," 33.

The two yielded 12 sachets of shabu worth P340,000 together with a .45 caliber pistol and ammunition.

Balbal and Toptop both face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Meanwhile, they also have separate charges such as Violation of R.A 10591 for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, Obstruction of Justice PD 1829, and Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority Article 151, respectively. (Vincent Brian Gutierrez)
