Known for his role as Tom Holland's best friend in the "Spider-Man” films, Filipino-American actor Jacob Batalon is tying the knot to his long-time girlfriend Veronica Leahov following a romantic proposal.

Jacob, 28, announced the news on his Instagram account by posting sweet moments of their engagement that took place in New York City.

Jacob knelt on one knee in front of Veronica and held out the ring. Behind the couple was a floral arrangement in the shape of a heart with neon lights that read, "Will you marry me? in the center.

Jacob gave a closer look at the ring on Veronica's finger.

"The beginning of the rest of our lives together," Jacob wrote in the caption.

Two months after Holland and Zendaya, his co-stars from "Spider-Man," who have been dating since 2021, got engaged, Jacob and  Veronoica announced their engagement.

Born to Filipino parents in Hawaii, Jacob played Ned Leeds, Holland's Peter Parker's best friend, in the three "Spider-Man" movies Spy-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spy-Man: Far from Home (2019), and Spy-Man: No Way Home (2021).
